Rosanne Terese Olson

Rosanne T. Olson, 69 of East Orleans, MA passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was born In Cambridge, MA the daughter of June Claire (Tibbets) Olson. Rosanne was raised and educated in Weymouth, MA and was a graduate of Weymouth High School. She happily moved to Cape Cod in 1994 with her two sons, Christopher and Peter.

Rosanne was a strong, independent and loving mother. She was always very proud and supportive of her sons. Rosanne was a small business owner and a dedicated residential support staff member of Cape Abilities for several years.

She actively donated to Saint Jude’s Children Hospital and was always helpful to others before thinking of herself.

She loved living on the Cape and moving to Cape Cod was always a dream of hers. Many summers were spent on the beach with friends and family. Rosanne was an avid birdwatcher, book reader and loved Sunday drives with friends and family. She loved chocolate, coffee and being her grandson’s Nonnie.

Rosanne is survived by her two loving sons, Christopher A. Hamilton of Ambler, PA and Peter N. Hamilton of Eastham, MA. She also leaves behind her sister, Susanne Tibbetts of East Weymouth, MA, grandson, Jonah R. Hamilton, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. She will be dearly missed by those blessed to know her.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Friday, April, 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at The Nickerson Funeral Home 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, MA 02653. A private burial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Rosanne’s name may be made to Saint Jude’s Hospital by visiting www.stjude.org.
