Sheila, what a wonderful friendship we had as we raised our sons on Gov. Bradford Rd. Brewster. They formed a lifelong friendship as we did. We promised to keep in touch when we last met but life has a way of putting plans on hold. My fondest memories are of our early days of motherhood and sharing great times with our boys! I will always remember you as my very best friend and I am so sad I only just  learned of your passing. I think of you often, with the greatest fondness, until we meet again! Sheila- you were one of the people I loved to be with most growing up.  I still remember you singing “Leaving on a Jet Plane” when it was bath time and I had knickers on my head in place of a shower cap.  You made much better toast than my mom.  You had the best smile and giggle when you were telling me something funny.  I will miss you xxx

Sheila was one of a kind. She had the biggest heart and the best sense of humor. Something many people don’t know about Sheila was that she sang like an angel. I remember being a young “tween” and hearing her sing in the next room and thinking my mom was playing a Karen Carpenter album. She loved her granddaughters so much and my biggest hope is that some day they get to hear how wonderful their Granny Sheila was. Sending love to the Garvey family ❤️

Sheila Hamilton was the sweetest woman I knew. She had a lot of losses in her life with her husband and then her only son Paul. Both her son and my son were great friends. Sheila you will be missed but you are now with your family again. R.I.P. my friend ❤

Sheila was one of my mother's best friends, and she was like a big sister to me and my sister Heather.  She was kind and generous and lots of fun.  We had some good times.  I miss her. xx
