Ursula, born on February 14, 1938 in Boston, MA, was the daughter of M. Pricilla (Dunker) and H.K. “Bill” Draper Jr. She graduated from Dover High School ’55 and attended Katherine Gibbs School in Boston. Ursula married her best friend, closest confidant and partner in both joy and sorrow, Henry W. Taintor in 1958. They had one son, William Henry, in 1959. She was a successful real estate agent in Dover and together she and Henry showed their cherished dogs up and down the eastern seaboard before moving to the Cape, where they owned guest cottages and a luncheonette in Eastham.
Ursula was a private woman of refined taste and keen intelligence with a wicked sense of humor and truly loyal heart. She loved her home, her gardens and was avid knitter. She made wonderful Christmas stockings, afghans, scarves, mittens and dishcloths that are prized by her family and friends.
“Ursie” is survived by her brother, Bill Draper, and sister in law, Judy, her sister in law and cohort in mischief, Linda Draper, nine nieces and nephews, her dear friends and kind neighbors, all of whom loved and shall miss this tiny lady and her wry humor. However, we are comforted to know that she passed just as she wanted, peacefully at home, and is at last reunited with her beloved Henry and their son Willie, her brother, Chuck Draper and niece Paige.
