He was the son of the late Robert C. Saley (father) and Marilyn I. Saley (mother).
Wade is survived by his life partner Lisa Amerault, his sister Sheri, brother-in-law Phil Graves and their four children Caleb (Miriam) and their son Luca, Rebecca (husband Anderson), Maryrose, and Christine.
Lovingly remembered by many cousins and friends.
Wade graduated with a bachelor's in accounting from Oswego SUNY. He was a graduate from Burnt Hills, Ballston Lake, NY, class of 1979 with a varsity letter in football wearing number fifty-two.
Wade was a self-employed entrepreneur and a handyman in his community. He was creative, whatever his clients dreamed, he could build to their specifications and recently began designing Adirondack Chairs. As a child he loved his green sting ray bike, playing tag and spud with his neighborhood friends. His family and friends remember him as one who loves quietly but loves hard, a lover of people, selfless servant and fun, with a sense of humor that would lighten your mood.
Wade inherited a love of God’s creation from his mom. His home was surrounded by nature, a natural sanctuary to a variety of animals and birds. He inherited his design skills from his dad, who could fix anything. He inherited his love for cooking from his parents, accompanied by his own gift of creating culinary delights for family and friends. When others took an interest in cooking, Wade included them in preparing the meal, igniting this passion in others.
When he had time, he enjoyed relaxing at the bay, with family and friends with his Big Kahuna kayak in toe. Sunset walks by the bay with Lisa, family and friends created lasting memories.
Wade had a heart full of love, he will be missed greatly.
