William Krise Householder

It is with great sadness that our family has said goodbye to our Dad/PopPop. William K. Householder passed away on August 13, 2026 at 95 years old. He is the son of George and Kathryn Householder of York, Pennsylvania.

Bill is survived by his 4 children, Lori Peterman, Lisa Fogarty(Bill ), David Householder(Cindy), Robert Householder(Natasha), 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Sadly, Doris Householder passed away in January 2025.

Bill loved fishing, skiing, camping and Cape Cod. Most of all he loved dancing with Doris. They could always “cut a rug” together. Bill worked as a manager of distribution for the lamp divisions of General Electric, Westinghouse and North American Philips Corp at different stages of his corporate career.

Once retired, Bill and Doris travelled extensively where they enjoyed exploring other countries and American National Parks.

As his grandchildren will attest, his greatest joy was his family. He was a gentleman and a sincerely kind and honest person. Bill and Doris have built a legacy with their family and will be greatly missed and always loved.

A funeral service will be held on September 26th, 2026 at 11am at St John’s Lutheran Church, 587 Springfield Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901.
