Alois Trey Jr.

Buddy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who touched the lives of many with his kindness, love, and dedication to family. He shared 71 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Gloria Moore Trey.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gloria Moore Trey; daughter, Teresa Ace sisters Sabina Buchanan, Frances Hillis, grandchildren, Dana Ace, Angela Ace Stacy Mellin, Alois Trey IV, and Andrew Williams; and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his son, Alois Trey III; daughter, Deborah Trey; parents, Alois and Anna Trey; and grandson, Adam Williams.

Buddy had a great love for bowling and enjoyed spending time with his family. His warmth, sense of humor, and caring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Buddy’s life on Monday, June 22, 2026. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, Florida.
