I am so sorry to hear of Andy's passing. My mother, Avis Cushing was his secretary when the new Ormond Jr Hi was opened and they worked together for years. My sympathy and prayers to his family.  Judy Cushing Brownlee

You touched the souls of many as a educator there is no higher calling than to mold the future of children you will be remembered and missed by thousands.

My years at OBJH will forever be enriched thanks to Mr. Romano. My heartfelt prayers go out to his family.

Remembering Mr. Romano as my fifth grade teacher at Riverview Elementary, he was a good teacher and had a good rapport with his students. Years later, I also looked forward to seeing him on the beach at his "spot" and we enjoyed many conversations there rehashing memories. He was always so approachable and easy to talk with. He will be missed by many.

What a great man. Proud that we could get that beachside park dedicated in his honor BEFORE he left us. Prayers out to his family and thank you Andy for everything you did for this area! Celebration of a life well lived!

Andy will be remembered by all the Carrico family.  Such great memories of him taking a part in their childhood to adults .  Our beach days always started off with a smile from Andy as we entered the beach.
A great friend and neighbor.  He will be missed .
