Anton, 

My dear friend. We met in 1996. When you first moved to Daytona Beach. I remember the nights we spent watching World's Scariest Police Chases with John Bunnell. Your father telling me I would be a colonel in the United States Air Force. I remember when your sister was dating a guy named Jeff who drove a Mitsubishi 3000. I was so jealous of him, because I had a crush on your sister Maria. 

I miss the times we spent filming karate movies, and playing around Countryside apartments in Daytona Beach. You got your mustang and drove to school everyday. You loved Cash Money records, and always said you wanted to be in a music video with Baby and Lil Wayne. The last time I saw you, you came to visit me after I had moved to Minnesota. You picked me up from the airport, and dropped me off to fly back after a brief time in Daytona. We talked and laughed like old times. Watched police chase videos and Russian car chases, laughed, and laughed. You met my kids, and saw my family.  Spent time at my house before I left to go back. 

You took me to the airport, and we talked about you coming to Minnesota to visit once I got established. That same year you were gone. We hadn't seen each other in at least five years, then all of a sudden we ran into each other, hung out like we never missed a beat. Just like that, you were gone. One of my first friends in Daytona when I moved here. We were both 11 years old.  Even though we lost touch after high school, I would see you every now and then. I'm grateful God let me see you one more time before you left us for good.  I still know all the Russian curse words you taught me til' this day.

Dear Dolgov Family, with a heavy heart please accept my sincere condolences. I remember Anton since he was a little boy he will forever be in my heart. So untimely and so young so tragic. I hope your family will find peace in this difficult time! Rest in peace Anton.

Anton you were such a joy to me..I'm going to miss you calling and asking to come hang out with me and sitting there for hours just talking..This last year has meant so much to me..You were always there for me and the girls..I would like to say you were my best friend..I will always and forever love my Russian son Anton..I will never forget you calling me your American mom it will always mean the world to me..You will always be in our hearts and thoughts..My thoughts and prays go out to your family and loved ones..RIP my son

As I look back on the times spent with Anton,I realize that he was a part of the Erin and Amanda package.I met him through them and he  was such a nice ,gentle soul! Always had a smile on his face and a joke up his sleeve to make everyone laugh. Anton will be missed here on Earth tremendously ,but I hope he can  see how much he is loved! I hope everyone finds peace and comfort through their wonderful memories with him through this difficult time .

R.I.P Anton....you will be missed but not forgotten.

We always knew it was Anton when we heard a knock at the door. It could be months even years at one point. He always made our house his first stop when he came into town. Even when we weren't home, we always knew if he came by. The hose would be left out from him washing his car. Man did he love his cars! I know i will think about him every time i make a cup of coffee. I think he loved coffee just as much as his cars. Anton Igor Dolgov I hope you knew how much you meant to my family and I. I will forever cherish the many years and memories we shared together.
