They moved to Shreveport, LA, where he completed his residency, with their first son, Bruce Wesley. By the time the Davises moved to Daytona Beach in 1962, their family had grown to a daughter and four sons. Allan joined a urology practice with Drs. Michael Blais and Thomas Ayres. By 1972, Allan and Barbara Davis had welcomed another son and four daughters. Despite her busy schedule, Barbara found time to work with the Cub and Boy Scouts as well as Brownies and Girl Scouts.
