BUTLER, BETTY JANE, nee BINDEWALD, of Ocean Grove Drive, Ormond Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on April 21, 2012 with many friends at her side. Betty was born in Temple University Hospital, Philadelphia on June 24, 1924 to Bessie and Frank Bindewald. She graduated from Frankford High School and married George W. Jackson. Widowed at an early age, Betty found love again and married Bill Butler. They moved to Ormond Beach in 1965 and, as Betty said many times, got the sand between her toes. Betty was preceded in death also by her sister, Eleanor and both parents. She was an active member of Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church and is survived by her companion Bob Morris, cousin Daniel Maloney, dog Bullet and her many, many friends who will miss her dearly. Services will be held at Ormond Beach Presbyterian Church on April 25 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a light luncheon. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com.
