Brenda L Bear

Brenda L. Bear passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered as a kind, strong, and loving woman whose generous heart and gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Norman and Annie Bear, son, George M "Mel" Green III and her brother, Norman "Buddy" Bear.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Vickie (Dawn) Green and Debra Green; her devoted sister, Regina (Howard) Hawes; her son, James (Tammy) Green; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Brenda found great joy in the outdoors and took immense pride in caring for her yard, plants, and flowers. She truly had a green thumb, and her beautiful gardens reflected the love and care she poured into everything she did. She also enjoyed painting, expressing her creativity through her artwork, playing billiards at the senior center, spending time with friends over a game of cards, and sharing laughter with those around her.

An animal lover at heart, Brenda had a special bond with her beloved cat, Oreo, who brought her comfort and companionship.

Above all, Brenda's greatest love was her family. Her unwavering strength, resilience, and caring nature were admired by all who knew her. She faced life's challenges with courage and grace, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and perseverance that will continue to inspire those she loved.

Though she is no longer with us, Brenda's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
