be mourned by many who's lives were touced by this caring, intelligent, positive person. Starting from humble beginnings in Ohio, Chuc served in WWII, graduated from Ohio State Univerity, became an Informatiion Specialist and moved to Daytona Beach to work for General Electric, then manage his own

feed store, before retirng. He met and married his beloved bride, Joan, at OSU and together they raised 4 children. He collected many things but mostly had a passion for books; and learning. Chuc was an active, well-loved, member of Community United Methodist Church for 54 years, with positions

as Lay Leader, staff parrish relatiions chairman, teacher and volunteered for many more. Through the church he also was Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop #70, where he was a positive influence in the life choices of many young men. Survivors of this wonderful man include 3 children: Charles Jr., Ormond Beach, Bruce (Jean), Ocala, and Carol (Dave), Ormond Beach. 3 grandchildren: Chris (30). Alyssa (26) and Casey (20), and 1 sister, Doris, Barberton, OH.

In lieu of flowers, consider donating to the local shelters where Chuc and Joan volunteered: Family Renew Community or Halifax Urban Ministries (easily done through their websites). Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m Monday May 8 2017 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N Nova Road Ormond Beach. Burial will follow in Volusia Memorial Park.
