

Chester Webb Sr. departed this world for heaven, surrounded by his family, on Monday, September 7, 2015 at the age of 94. Born in Borderland, WV on January 22, 1921, to Alfred and Sarah Webb he was one of 10 children. Chester was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Udell (Jackson) Webb. He is survived by his children Jerry (Paula), Joy (Robert), Chester Jr. (Charlene) and Renee (Jay), thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Chester served his country in the U.S. Army for four years in the Pacific Campaign during WWII. He moved to Daytona Beach, Florida in 1964 and was owner/operator of Fact-O-Bake along with his brother Alfred before opening Chester Webb & Sons’ Auto Painting in 1979. Chester was a member of Flomich Baptist Church in Holly Hill, Florida faithfully serving his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, always willing to share his testimony with everyone he met.

Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home at 548 North Nova Road, Ormond Beach, Florida. The funeral will be at Flomich Baptist Church in Holly Hill, Florida on Friday at 3:00pm. Interment will be at Jacksonville National Cemetery on Monday, September 14th at 2:00pm. with military honors. Volusia Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
