

Clarence met and was united in Holy Matrimony to his wife of 64 years Anna Gracia Ayala Seales on January 24, 1948 at St. Peter Claver Roman Catholic Church, Brooklyn, New York. This union was blessed with two sons and three daughters.
During his adult life he became a patrolman in the New York City Police Department. He advanced to the rank of Detective, then Sergeant, and finally Detective Sergeant and supervisor of detectives, retiring in 1975 after 20 years of service. He relocated to Florida in 1980,and worked as an investigative agent, was promoted to Bureau Chief and ultimately served as aide to the Police Commissioner of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, retiring in 1990.
He was an inspired author who in 1994 published a fictional saga of post-Civil War heroics entitled, "The Buffalo Soldier".
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Anna, children Etienne, Lynette, Cecile, Stephanie, and Roger. He is also survived by six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We thank the Lord for his mercifulness, and for allowing the many happy years with him. He shall not be forgotten.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
