Clarine M. Burgess

Mrs. Clarine "Clar" M. Wolford Burgess age 84 of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on November 5, 1925 in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Francis Raymond & Clara Cecila Riedmiller Wolford. She was raised Roman Catholic. She was raised in Columbus, Ohio and resided in Haydenville, Ohio from 1973-1985. She moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 1985 and lived there until 2006 when she moved to Madison to be with her daughter. She was united in marriage to Allen W. Burgess on November 26, 1947. This union was blessed with the birth of their daughter, Laurie. She was blessed seven years later with the birth of her son, Keith. She worked early in life for the A & P Factory in Columbus, Ohio. She then worked at the Kresge Five & Dime Store for several years. She spent many years working as a waitress with many of those years at Jacks Steak House in Logan, Ohio. After moving to Ormond Beach she worked in facility maintenance at several motels and enjoyed her booth at various flea markets. She enjoyed reading, enjoyed her grandchildren, loved crafts, collecting owls and things with wings, crotcheting, loved to go to the beach and watch the ocean, loved to socialize with people and always gave generously of herself. Clarine died Friday, September 10, 2010 at 6:35 a.m. at Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover Indiana.

Clarine will be missed by her loving daughter: Laurie M. Auxier & her husband, Mark of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter in law: Dotty L. Burgess of Glenville, West Virginia; her loving sister: Delores "Dee" Legg of Columbus, Ohio; her grandchildren: Tracie Ann Onufrak & her husband, Peter; Brandon C. Bolles & his wife, Joni; Kyley M. Bolles & his fiancee, Lenny Dee Torres; & Keith R. Burgess; her great grandchildren: Michael Christopher Onufrak, Lauren Nicole Onufrak, & Lilly Opal Bolles; her special nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Raymond & Clara Cecila Riedmiller Wolford; her infant daughter; her son, Keith L. Burgess died, July 19, 2001; her siblings, Raymond "Ray" Wolford, William "Bill" Wolford, Walter "Wally" Wolford & his wife, Lucille, Robert "Bob" Wolford, Eileen Wolford & John F. "Jack" Wolford.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road in Ormond Beach, Florida. Entombment will follow in the Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Friends may call Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 North Nova Road in Ormond Beach, Florida.
