Dana Silbajoris

Dana Silbajoris, age 90, of Ormond Beach, FL passed away on November 10, 2017. She was born in Kybartai, Lithuania on January 17, 1927 and married Algirdas Silbajoris in New York City on April 16, 1950. Dana worked many years as an Insurance Underwriter for Traveler's Insurance. Dana was active in the Lithuanian community and had a passion for her family. She will be missed dearly by her family, friends and extended church family at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Dana was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Algirdas and brother, Vytautas Galinis. She is survived by her two sons, Robert Silbajoris (wife Christie) and Paul Silbajoris (wife Daiva); grandchildren, Lydia Glaw, Emily Brittain, Kristina Silbajoris, Laura Cesare and Andrius Silbajoris; great-grandchildren, Jonas Glaw, Sawyer and Sophia Brittain, Viktoria Silbajoris and Leah Cesare. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on November 14, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 600 S. Nova Rd., Ormond Beach. The family has asked that donations in Dana’s memory be made to Camp Neringa, Inc., 147 Neringa Rd., Brattleboro, VT 05301 to support Lithuanian children.
