Danny Danny J. Rossi

Daniel J. Rossi, Jr., “Danny” passed away unexpectedly February 1, 2016 in Ormond Beach, FL. He was born in Summit, NJ to the late Daniel J. and Isabel Rossi (DeGuilo). Danny grew up in Stirling, NJ and came to the Ormond area in 2001 from Basking Ridge, NJ. He worked 38 years for Binder Machinery as a Heavy Equipment and Hydraulics Mechanic. Danny retired from Binder in 2000. Danny was a life member of the Ormond Beach Elks #2193, a member of Ormond by the Sea Eagles #4435 and recently joined the Moose Lodge #1263. He enjoyed spending time with his family, restoring his award winning Model-A Ford and surf fishing. Danny loved golf and had 3 hole-in-ones, with the most recent one being at River Bend, Ormond Beach.

Danny was preceded in death by his wife Ruby in 2009. He is survived by his son; Dwayne (Sue), Ormond Beach, FL son; Dean (Nadine), Basking Ridge, NJ, daughter; Deborah Rossi of Little Elm, TX, and his loving companion of 6 years Victoria Sanders, sisters; Roberta Rossi and Joann Riola both of Huntersville, NC. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren Jennifer, Haylee and Michael.

A Celebration of Danny’s Life will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 12:00 noon.
