

A celebration of life for Donald “Scott” Featherstone, 53, who went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2011, will be 11:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2011 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL with the Reverend Rick Wright as the celebrant. The family will be receiving friends for an hour prior to the service, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday. The interment will be at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach, FL immediately following the service.
Scott spent time as an administrator for Teen Challenge and had a passion to share Christ with others. He had his own computer repair company and was passionate about cooking. He was well known for preparing tasty cheesecakes, homemade blueberry dressing and famous buckwheat pancakes for family, friends and patrons of his restaurant, his lifelong dream, named “G Pop’s Kitchen” in Saint Augustine, FL. Scott was born in Hillside, N.J. and moved to Florida in 1987. He was a member of Palm Coast Bible Church, Palm Coast, FL. Scott enjoyed golf and bowling and he didn’t like to miss the NFL Draft. Scott had a passion for kids, babysitting and raising his children. He was well versed in politics and could debate his ideas to no end. Scott was preceded in death by his father, Donald, stepmother, Katherine, and brother, Richard.
Scott leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Teresa; two daughters, Elizabeth and Alicia; one son, Sean; stepson, Jeremy; mother, Joan; sister, Carol; nieces, Tracey (Kenny) Landrum, Michelle (James) Carr and Erin (Chris) Jarc along with loving extended family, who greatly love him and will miss him.
