Dorothy Agnes Vogl

Dorothy was born on October 16, 1922, to Mary (Brown) and Joseph J. Green, died on March 13, 2024, in Ormond Beach, Fl. Predeceased by husband, Howard in 1983, siblings, Joseph (Adele), Bernice Fischer, (Robert), William Green (Francis), Mary Ann Diesfeld (John). Survived by sons, Howard (Rita) of Ormond Beach, FL, and Robert (Kathy) of Chesapeake, VA, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Dorothy lived, worked, and retired in Buffalo, NY, for over eight decades. She worked many years at the University of Buffalo. She was active in the Altar and Rosary Society at Visitation Church and cherished the friends she had in the neighborhood. Dorothy loved to play cards with family and friends and also loved Bingo and going to the Casino with family.

Dorothy moved to Chesapeake, Virginia, and lived independently until her late eighties, then moved to Ormond Beach, Florida, where she lived in assisted living until she was 101. Dorothy amazed her family and her caretakers later on with her small stature but big presence. The family is grateful to Gentiva Hospice for special care she received in recent months.

Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of life at a later date in Buffalo, NY, where she will be interred.
