I have known for many years  he had stoped by recently just to talk was shocked to here about his passing.

My husband, Mike, and I were neighbors to Doug several years ago. Up until last week we had still seen him frequently in the neighborhood and he would stop by to chat. He was definitely one of a kind. We are saddened by his passing. We hope he can be at peace now.
