

Beloved mother and grandmother Edna May Probst (nee Cotton), 95, of Ormond Beach went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2014 in Palm Coast. She was born on July 8, 1918 in Elma, New York—outside of Buffalo—where she lived for many years. She moved to Ormond Beach in 1969, and was an active member of the former Ormond Beach Union Church, where she played in the Bell Choir. She was a dedicated homemaker, a skilled sewer, and an avid surf fisher. She is survived by sister Rena Kaefer of Clarence NY, brother-in-law William Airey of Alden, New York, daughter Donna Mae Ruttan (Daniel) of Ormond Beach, son Richard (Christine) of Palm Coast, granddaughter Theresa Agiga (David) of Palm Coast, grandson Ross Alvord (Bebhinn) of Brewster, New York, and great-grandchildren Jesseka Agiga, Nuala Mae Alvord, and Donovan Alvord. She is predeceased by her parents, Harry Cotton and Lola Locke, Frederick J. Probst—her husband of 57 years, and six siblings. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 3:00pm at Volusia Memorial Park.
