Edwin Clayton Taylor

Edwin C. “Eddie” Taylor, age 70, passed away on June 18, 2026, leaving behind many who will miss his warm heart, generous spirit, and unforgettable sense of humor. Eddie embraced life fully and found joy in the simple pleasures that meant the most to him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Taylor; his mother, Jeannette Miller; and his brother Walter Cheesman. He leaves behind his brother John Josef; his sisters, Holly Cousins and Karen McGovern; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Eddie loved his little dog, Talough, who was a constant companion and brought him great happiness. He enjoyed good food, days at the beach, music, classic television shows, and comedy. He had a gift for helping others, lifting spirits, and making people laugh. Whether through a joke, a kind word, or simply his presence, Eddie had a way of bringing comfort and joy to those around him. Eddie served proudly in the US Army.

Those who knew Eddie will remember a man who lived life to the fullest, appreciated every moment, and valued the people he loved. His kindness, laughter, and love of life will remain in the hearts of family and friends who were fortunate enough to know him.

A celebration of Eddie's life will be held at a later date.
