Eugene "Gino" Kozak III

Eugene “Gino” Kozak 32, of Ormond Beach passed away Wednesday August 1, 2012. Gino was from Pittsburg, PA originally and came to the Daytona area as a small child. He graduated from Mainland High School in 1998 and went on to graduate Cum Laude from the University of West Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Health Education and a minor in Nutrition. He is a certified Primary Personal Trainer and has been since 2005, and was an Advanced Personal Trainer through Fitour and a Certified Fitness Trainer through International Sports Sciences Association. He and his Wife Ruah of 12 years shared a passion for fitness, training, health and nutrition. Gino was a very loving, joyful and sometimes crazy spirit. He had so many friends that really loved him and he will be dearly missed by all. Gino also enjoyed photography and helping others thru volunteering in the community he worked with the homeless at the Jewish Federation and with children at The Star Family Shelter. Gino is survived by his loving wife Ruah; parents Linda and Gene, Sr.; brother Walter Diggs and wife Nathette of Daytona Beach sister-in-law Laura Stryker; aunt Phyllis Senecal; Two uncles Mike Senecal of Beaufort, SC and David Brown of Daytona Beach; nephew Ian Diggs and niece Haylee Ellis both of Daytona Beach, Gino was predeceased by his Grandfather Philip Brown. A celebration of Gino’s life will be set at a later date and time.
