Mrs. Carney was a former member of Highlands Presbyterian Church, a past Grand Chief of the Phithian Sisters (in Michigan) and a retired realtor with Century 21 Agency in Ormond Beach.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Carney and a Daughter, Barbara Clymer.
Survivors include her Daughter, Mrs. William Kopka (Sharon) and a Son, Mr. Barry Carney (and his wife, Lori); 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday August 19, 2010 in The Ormond Beach Chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach. A Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. on Wednesday August 18, 201 at the Funeral Home.
