
On Friday, July 15, 2016, Frances M. Brennan (nee SanFillippo) 88 passed away at Bishops Glen in Holly Hill Fl after a courageous battle with Dementia. Prior to her stay at Bishops Glen, Fran was a resident of Bear Creek in Ormond Beach Florida for the last 28 years, previously residing in Freehold and Fords, NJ.
Fran is survived by her son Lonnie C. Brennan of Ormond Beach FL, daughter Susen (Casey) Brennan and grandson Thomas Stevely, Jr both of Raleigh NC , son Kevin and his wife Debbie Brennan of Lakewood NJ along with their children and grandchildren, and one sister, Katherine (Kay) O’Grady of Clark, NJ, and a much beloved extended family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Kevin A Brennan, 1970, and one brother Tony (Sonny) SanFillippo 2005, Tom River, NJ. Her passions were her children and grandson. She was a retired telephone operator, a position which she very much enjoyed. On many a day, you could find her on the beach feeding the birds which gave her much delight. She had a love of dogs and there wasn’t a dog she met that she didn’t like. She was also a big fan of Elvis. Fran had been active in the Elks of Port Orange, Eagles of Ormond Beach and the Fleet Reserve of Tom River, NJ.
Fran’s wishes were to be cremated without services. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
