Gary E. Rogers, 73, of Ormond Beach, FL, was reunited with his “Red Fox”, wife Jessie, when he passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2023. A longtime resident of the area, Gary – also known as “Big Ugly” since he was 6’4”, also enjoyed NASCAR and was a Ford fanatic, supporting Joey Logano, Bill Elliot, and Mark Martin over the years. An Army veteran who also was known to drag race from time to time growing up, he was a truck driver for many years. Gary is survived by his son, Gene “Woody” Wood, 3 brothers: Bud, Rusty, and Randy; 2 sisters: Cheryl and “Bean”, and a host of friends and shenanigan co-conspirators. There will be no services held at this time.
