To the family of Georgette Powell:
Georgette was a dear friend and suppotive mentor to me and to many others fortunate to have known her. I met Ms. Powell shortly after coming to DC in 1970. Mr. and Ms. Powell cordially welcomed me into the DC artist's community, shared their Tomorrow's World Studio and it's facilities.

Dear Ric and Family:

My heart is saddened about the demise of your beloved mother, Ms Georgette, who was a "Phenomenal Woman" of great character and dignity.

Although our time spent together was for a short period...we were still able to chat about her family, artistic background and diverse experiences within the Art World.

What a life well-lived! How fortunate to have had such a beautiful and talented mother whose legacy will con-
tinue for generations to come. "May Her soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine upon her."

May God's Blessings Shine Upon You.

The Family of Georgette Seabrook Powell will continue to be in our prayers at this time of Celebration of the Life & Homegoing of a great mother, wife, & artist. Her living was not in vain, and we are blessed to have so much art to enjoy as a testimony to a creative & full life.
Ric, we especially think of you at this time. We look forward to seeing you again, and want you to know that we think of you often, from the days of working with Donny, who we also miss, to the last time we saw you at a restaurant in Los Angeles over 25 years ago. You remain in our hearts.
GOD Bless the entire family, and the precious memory of this Great & Historical Lady.
