Gloria (mom) was the epitome of the word lady. Gracious and vibrant, always with a smile. She always made you feel good and leave with a smile. Her family was always first in her life. She was always up to try anything, like maybe ride a motorcycle , be first in line to zipline, or skydive if she had a chance. We love you and will miss you . Rest in peace Gloria(mom).
P.S: John will always remember to wear long pants for Thanksgiving.

When I think of grandma, memories of a house filled with the aroma of roasted turkey before Thanksgiving dinner and the feeling of excitement as a child when waking up on Christmas morning to find gifts under the tree come to mind. I miss you grandma. Thank you for the memories.

Mom was a woman of grace and sophistication, and always maintained her sense of humor. She was grateful to all and never took anything for granted. She always saw the positive side and laughed a lot! She was a life long “learner”, researching information on anything her family was interested in, so she could contribute. She would become a resource. She is, and will always be, a part of our lives daily. The conversations, advice and laughter will be terribly missed. ❤️

This wonderful lady was mother to me, and to Cynthia Brisse Sucharski. She was a person who loved life and lived it to the hilt.

Gloria found the perfect man in Andre Brisse (perfect for all of us). She knew it, too. I always loved the story of how she laid a trap for him, and baited it with a fitted Glenn plaid suit. Our mother was a stunning woman in her youth, with wavy auburn hair and thousands of cute freckles. Andre was a goner. ❤️💕

I could go on for pages, but here is just one memory that’s so illustrative of what it was like to be raised by her. On a wonderful Spring day, she followed me out into the yard as I was leaving for school (we were talking, natch). She bent down to pick a daffodil, and gave it to me to take to school with me. Imagine being brought up by a person like that!

It was my blessing to have known her for 72 years, and I will always love her (to the moon and back🌺)!
