Harriet Callahan, 93, passed away December 3, 2011. She was born February 8, 1918 to William and Bessie (Cattle) Pauley in Hastings, NE. She married Willian Callahan and they moved to the Palm Coast, FL area in 1975. A lover of music she graduated from Julliard in 1941. She went on to teach both music and elementary school in the Cornwall, NY school system. Harriet played music at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church in NY. She also enjoyed rug hooking.
Harriet is survived by her daughter Claudia J. Work of Palm Coast, FL., sons Robert (Betty) Callahan and William J. Callahan, JR., six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.
