

Inez S. Entwisle, of Holly Hill, Florida, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020, at the age of 96, at Halifax Health Hospice after a brief illness. She was born on February 14, 1924, in Webster, Massachusetts, and lived most of her life in Massachusetts and Connecticut before moving to Florida in 1987. Inez worked for many years as a Manager at Edward’s Department Store in Southbridge, Massachusetts, and later owned and managed The Health Hut in Webster, Massachusetts, until her retirement in 1986.
She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Emelia (Bouthilette) Savage, her husband, Harry S. Entwisle, and her daughter, Judith G. Collette.
She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Snay, of Thompson, Connecticut; her son-in-law, Donald Collette, of Port Orange, Florida; her granddaughter, Cindy (and Henry) Simonelli, of Southbridge, Massachusetts; her grandson, Gregory (and Christine) Collette, of Port Orange, Florida; her great-granddaughters, Stephanie (and Seneca) Pierson, of Port Orange, Florida; and Jennifer (and Alan) Fontaine, of Fort Myers, Florida; her great-great-granddaughter, Saige Pierson; her step-daughters, Sandra Entwisle, of Ormond Beach, Florida; and Michelle Knight, of Cape Neddick, Maine; her sister-in-law, Ida Mae Brulotte, of Taftville, CT, and many nieces and nephews.
Inez was active and athletic all of her life, with a real passion for music and dancing. She taught ballroom dancing for years, and regularly attended dances where it was not uncommon for others to stop and watch as she and her husband Harry gracefully danced together. She also enjoyed painting, playing the organ, and reading the Bible. She treasured her family and friends, and enjoyed helping others in any way that she could.
