Irene M. Riemann

A mass of Christian burial for Irene M. Riemann, who passed away at the Stewart F. Meyer Hospice House, Palm Coast, will be 10:30 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 4600 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast with the Reverend Al Esposito as the officiant. The family will be receiving friends from 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. The interment will be at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Road, Ormond Beach immediately following the service.

Mrs. Riemann was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and moved to Palm Coast, FL in 1985 from Port Washington, N.Y. She was an Executive Secretary for Chase Manhattan Bank in New York City, N.Y. prior to becoming a homemaker. She always said that her greatest accomplishment in life was her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Palm Coast and a member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, shopping and was an avid baseball fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers before they moved to L.A. and then became a N.Y. Mets fan. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Riemann.

Mrs. Riemann leaves behind to cherish her memory, her two loving children, son, Kenneth (Debra S.) C. Riemann, Old Beth Page, N.Y. and daughter, Catherine (John D.) A. Marshall; four grandchildren, Jessica and Kaylee Riemann and Brett and Lauren Marshall.
