Born in the Netherlands, Jacqui moved with her husband from Paris to the United States.
She had a successful career as an executive secretary in New York City. After retirement she moved to Florida, first to Naples, then to Daytona Beach. The last eight years of her life she spent as a resident in the Riviera, Independent Living.
Jacqui is preceded in death by her beloved husband, with whom she spent almost 50 happy years in marriage. She is also preceded by her brothers Etienne, Paul, and Frans Hermans.
She is survived by her sister Tony, Holly Hill, her brother Piet, Swalmen, the Netherlands, her youngest sister Els, Socking, Germany, and her sister-in-law Jeanne, New Zealand and numerous nieces and nephews in the Netherlands, Germany and New Zealand.
A funeral Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 1:30 pm.
