Born in Carrollton, Ohio, she spent the first half of her life living in Steubenville, Ohio. At age 12 she started taking piano lessons and she played the entire rest of her life in various groups and churches. Janet was currently playing the wonderful melodies of the piano at Grace Community Church in Ormond Beach where she has served for many years.
After graduating high school she then attended nursing school at Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Her nursing career extended over 40 years. Janet was married to Dr. Reverend Gordon Falknor for 22 years who preceded her in passing. They enjoyed music together and loved to travel extensively.
Janet is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Snow of Sarasota, FL, Barbara (Edwin) Diggs of New Smyrna Beach, FL; son, David Headley of Ormond Beach, FL; granddaughter, Samantha (Jonathan) Snow, and great-grandson, Benjamin Canasas, all of Temple Terrace, FL.
A memorial Service will be held Tuesday January 11, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Grace Community Church
