I have so many fun and loving memories of my Uncle John who was also my God Father. Holidays were never the same when he and my Titi Aida moved to Florida. When I was 14 they took me on a road trip to Virginia Beach and we camped out in their pop up camper for the week. One of the best trips I ever went on. We laughed so much and I will never forget it. I find comfort that he passed away 3 days after my grandmother and everyone is together, dancing and healthy and at peace. I love you Uncle Johnny and you will live forever in my heart. Your loving Niece Laurene.

My Uncle was a wonderful man. I have such fond memories of him and his whole family as a child growing up on Long Island. John's wife my Aunt Aida was my mother's sister. My parents and my Aunt and Uncle had a double wedding. Our families were so very close and loving. They visited often after the move to Ormond Beach. I visited later with my grown children. My aunt and uncle are my eldest daughter's God parents John was so good to them and always the comic funny man with the whole family. He always made us laugh. After John's wife passed away things were never the same. My father passed away 4 years ago and my mother passed only 3 days before John. I like to think they are all in heaven together again and very happy. We loved them all so. John will be very muched missed by his son and our whole family. Love you uncle John.

John was an amazing neighbor. 93 years old and always happy go lucky, never complaining and loved life. He loved his walks and his interesting conversations with the neighbors. Rain or shine you could see John walking and checking in with his fellow friends and neighbors. Thanks John for your service in the military and being such a good neighbor RIP buddy.

It was always a pleasure to chat with John. Our neighborhood will miss him!
