John P. DiCesare, 80, of Palm Coast passed away Sunday January 15, 2012. John was born in Yonkers, NY on September 21, 1931 and was a long time resident of Yorktown Hgts, NY until moving to Florida in 1993. A retired construction worker, John was an avid football and baseball fan. He honorably served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. John was a member of Mother Seton where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He will always be remembered as a kind, gentle hard working man who devoted his life to his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56, years, Irene; daughters, Sharon, Lisa, Lori Lyons and Michelle (Chris) McCarthy; and grandchildren Christopher, Nicholas, Danielle and Ashley. He will be deeply missed by all. Friends can call Thursday 12 -1 pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 4600 Belle Terre Pky. Palm Coast. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 1PM. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made in his memory to Mother Seton Church.
