Joseph “Joey” Orlando Gionfriddo, 63, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2012 He was born to Orlando and Esther Gionfriddo on October 8, 1948. He worked several jobs over his lifetime and touched the lives of everyone he met. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 43 years; his two daughters, Lindsey Gionfriddo of Cary, NC and Jennifer of Ormond; son-in-law Philip, and grand-daughter Sophia Sanborn of Ormond Beach, Fl. He also leaves behind his brother Corrado and sisters; Michelina, Carmela, Lucille, and JoAnn and their spouses. As well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews who all reside in the Daytona/Port Orange Florida area. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to your favorite charity of choice. He will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held graveside on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 11:00am at Volusia Memorial Park in Ormond Beach, Florida.
