Joseph Rizzuto, 86, of Port Orange, passed away, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Halifax Hospital. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1933, to Melchiore and Concetta Rizzuto. Joe was a Master Diesel Mechanic in NY for 8 yrs. before moving to Florida. Joe changed careers in Florida becoming a Urology Tech and worked at Halifax Hospital for 32 yrs. He enjoyed playing chess, tennis, and baseball and was a professional saxophone player as well. Joe was preceded in death in 2005, by his wife of 46 yrs., Lucille Rizzuto. Joe is survived by his daughter Janine Rollins of Winchester, TN; son, Michael (Colleen) Rizzuto of Port Orange, FL and granddaughter, Ashley Rollins of Winchester, TN. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 4:00-6:00PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1014 N Halifax Ave, Daytona Beach, FL. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM, Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1014 N Halifax Ave, Daytona Beach, FL. Entombment to follow at Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach, FL.
