Joseph Donald Robinson Jr “Donnie”, 66, of Ormond Beach passed away on Sunday March 5, 2017. Donnie was born in Morgantown, West Virginia and has been a resident of Volusia County for 64 years. He was employed by Halifax Hospital for 23 years until his retirement in 2008. An avid hunter Donnie was a member of the Bimini One East Hunt Club in Bunnell, FL since 1980 and especially enjoyed Spring Gobbler season. He also enjoyed fishing, and NASCAR. The most important thing to him however, was his family and spending time with them. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years Becky; his daughter, Gwen Spaulding, son-in-law Robert; sisters, Connie Davis, Vi Robertson and Ruby Walker; brother in-laws Wendell Robertson, Sonny Smith; Paul Chandler ; sister-in-law Terri Chandler; grandchildren, Wyatt and Kailyn Spaulding; many nieces, nephew great nieces and great nephews. The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00 pm, Friday March 10, 2017 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N. Nova Road Ormond Beach.
