Julia was a graduate of the University of Central Florida, where she earned a degree in elementary education. Julia spent a number of years teaching in Putnam and Volusia counties and was recognized as teacher of the year in 1991-1992 and as south Putnam County citizen of the year in 1993-1994. She was a gifted teacher who touched her many students with her sweet smile and deep care for her students.

Julia was among the founding members of Community Christian Assembly in Pierson, Florida. Julia served tirelessly with her church and community by teaching and volunteering at every opportunity. She truly left a memorable impression on the many who knew her or simply crossed her path. Julia later brought her passion for serving and her reputation for being a wonderful cook, to Tallahassee, Florida, where she was a faithful member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church.

Julia is preceded by the true love of her life, her late husband, James T Byrom. She is survived by her children; her son Ron Byrom and his wife Sharice (Tallahassee, FL). Her son Jonathan Byrom and his wife Lee Ann (New Smyrna Beach, FL). Her step daughter and her husband, Dru and Hunter Lutinski (Stafford, VA). Also surviving her are her twelve grandchildren; brothers Tyson and Brayden Byrom, siblings Alayna, Parker, Zoe, Archer and Hudson Byrom, sisters Katherine, Sophia and Vickie Lutinski and siblings Abbie and Ben Byrom.

Mrs. Byrom was THE teacher in my life who convinced me that I could accomplish anything in my life. She was my fifth grade gifted teacher and challenged us every day to be the best version of ourselves. She was one of my only teachers who made it a point to tell her students she loved them. Her loving encouragement gave me the confidence to become who I am today. Thank you Mrs. Byrom, I love you too.
