June and husband Ray started, owned and operated Ray's Quality Meats for many years in Ormond Beach and it is still family run to this day. June loved spending time with family and playing bingo. She also enjoyed visiting Biloxi, MS to do a little gambling with her friends. June was a member of Tomoka Christian Church, Ormond Beach and the Moose Lodge, Ormond Beach.
June is survived by; son Mark Anderson (Marcy); and daughter Angela Scott; brother Eugene Shannahan and brother Norman Shannahan; grandson Christopher Anderson and granddaughter Kristina Anderson. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond Anderson.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 in the chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Volusia Memorial Park cemetery.
