Lizabeth Nell Christensen

Lizabeth Nell Christensen, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away on October 17, 2026, at the age of 80. She had recently celebrated her 80th birthday on Thursday, 10/08. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, creative gifts, love of flowers, and her ability to bring beauty, color, and celebration into the lives of those around her.

Lizabeth had a special talent for making occasions feel meaningful and memorable. Whether arranging flowers, planning a gathering, or creating a welcoming space, she brought style, energy, and care to the moments she touched. Her creativity and flair left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is survived by her children, Bill Beville and his wife, Mary Beville; Suzi Campbell and her husband, Trey Campbell; Jeanette Beville; and Mary Beville and her husband, E.J. Slaughter. She is also survived by her siblings, Josephine Dodson, Jeff Bailey (Rita), Dinah Rushing (Gayland), Elsie Lacy, R.O. Owen (David), Dallas Bailey, and Mary Coleson (Jim), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Christensen; her parents, Glenn and Sammie Bailey; and her sister, Brodean Scarlett.

A service celebrating Lizabeth’s life will be held on October 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1125 6th Street, Daytona Beach, Florida 32117-4142. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of her life, her creativity, and the beauty she shared with others.
