Louise was born in Greensboro, NC. Most of her childhood and early years were spent in Guildford and Randolph County. She graduated from Summerfield High School, class of 1961. She loved dirt track and nascar racing. She spent many weekends with her best friend Kay Handy, at the local tracks watching Kay's husband Johnny race along with Curtis "Crawfish" Crider, who she went on to marry in 1977. After her marriage to Curtis, she packed up Ronda and Cricket and moved the family to Ormond Beach, Florida. They added a new addition to the family in 1978 when Curtis Dean Crider was born! She spent 40 years in Florida where she made many amazing friends. A majority of them were from visits to The Iron Horse Saloon! This was one of, if not her favorite, hang out. Louise enjoyed Bike Week and Biketoberfest every year at the Iron Horse. After her husband passed away Louise decided to move back home to NC. It was not an easy decision but one we are blessed she made!
She loved people, she never met a stranger. Those who really knew her will tell you about her love of music, her patriotism, her love of family and friends, her love of visiting her favorite fishing spots or going crabbing. She had a tremendous respect for all first responders and our Military men and women! She enjoyed watching Nascar and was Ryan Blaney's biggest fan. She loved watching the Tampa Bay Rays and Atlanta Braves. She even became an avid fan of Duke Basketball and the San Francisco 49ers. Louise was full of life and lived it every day! Always a smile and a hug for everyone. She became a big fan of Karaoke and would go every Thursday night to Hurricane Jane's! She also enjoyed spending time and making her sliders for events at The Tavern. She loved you all so very much! Remember the good times, her smile, her love for life and she will live on through all of us!!
In Lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her name to Authora Care Collective (Hospice of Greensboro), Nascar Women's Auxiliary or The Ryan Blaney Foundation.
