I was a caregiver to my dear friend and sometimes the mother, as she was a friend and the mother to me for over 5 years. I loved her very dearly and have missed her as if she were my real family.
Magda is with her Earnest now and all the beautiful doggies she so loved. She is happy, truly happy now.
I will always love you my beautiful Magda.

Magda will be missed. She was a person of great passion and faith.
Though she had no children of her own, she cared about children's health and education. She and her late husband, Ernest, were dog lovers and she is survived by her Choo Choo, an adorable Bichon frise. Magda recently moved from her home to an apartment on the Halifax River. Though a challenge to her at age 98, continuing to be as independent as possible was very important to her happiness.
She never forgot her childhood growing up in what was then called Czechoslovakia. She had a love of fashion and was active in retail clothing sales in New York City in the 1980's.
