Margaret A. Vest

Margaret was born on August 27, 1937 in Muncie, Indiana. She graduated with her R.N. degree in 1959 from Ball State University. She initially worked as a charge nurse in the emergency room at Ball Memorial Hospital. She transferred to Labor and Delivery where she spent the next 30 years assisting in the delivery and caring for mothers and their infants. This was her true love.

In 1984, Margaret and Steve, her husband of 59 wonderful years, moved to Ormond Beach, Florida which was their favorite vacation destination. Margaret enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. She often cared for friends in the neighborhood when they were ill. She enjoyed performing with her tap dance troupe at Bear Creek for 10 years.

Margaret is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Brenda, son-in-law Kevin and grandson Justin.

The family would like to thank the wonderful team at Gentiva/Kindred at Home Hospice for their love and support during Margaret’s Illness.

May she rest in peace knowing that she has left a strong family legacy.
