Michelle T. Chase

Michelle was born in Haverhill, MA, on July 3, 1975, to parents Cherie Nordengren and Harry Herbrand Sr. She attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1993. She was the proud owner of Chasing Custom Cakes. She moved to Ormond Beach in 2020 with her family. Michelle passed on June 7, 2024, after a battle with cancer.

Michelle is survived by her husband Mark Chase, twin daughters: Mercedes and Michaela Chase of Ormond Beach, daughter Britney Diaz and son in law Kristian Diaz of Lafayette, IN, and grandson David Diaz. The loss of her presence and light will also be felt by her mother Cherie Nordengren and stepfather David Nordengren of Ormond Beach, brother Harry Herbrand Jr of Clarks Summit, PA, niece Adrianna Herbrand and father Harry Herbrand Sr of North Andover, MA; brother Richard Herbrand and wife Jenna Herbrand of Hampstead, NH, and nephews Liam and Ethan Herbrand in addition to many other loving family members.

A private family viewing was held for Michelle. A Ceremony of Life will be held in Haverhill, MA. The date is to be determined.
