I remember when you came out to California to visit John and I ! I was so homesick and you brought some of home with you! I didn't know what I wanted to do while living put there and, out of nowhere said"we'll, you were a cheerleader, why don't you jump around and teach aerobics now?" Every year at midnight, either I called you or you called me only seconds into the new year.  No matter how the year went, it started with a call from or to you. I missed our New Years call this morning and I miss you every day.

A couple of days late but I know you'll appreciate it just the same, Merry Christmas. I know you'll have everything in order up there just as you did down here. It will always be that way or as we your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren know it should be Mimi's way. I am sorry I did not hear of Monica's passing till today.  I remember her at Irving Trust so many years ago, but it is still like yesterday.

Not a day has passed when I have not thought of you.  Sometimes the silliest things bring memories.  A 'moment' comes often, without warning.   However, it's a moment I share with you, on my own.  Then I try to go on with my day. Of course I knew you wouldn't be here forever, but I hoped you would.  It's hard to accept that you're gone but your presence is surely felt.  I miss you.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

Thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. Mimi was a vivacious, humorous, lovely woman. My family has so many fond memories of times shared with her.  I have a vivid picture in my mind of her, coming over to our new home in Palm Coast many years ago, and we couldn't find her....she had climbed into the giant jacuzzi tub (dressed) and was pretending to take a bubble bath...I believe I have a photo of it somewhere! I miss my Grandma Mimi. I wish she could have gotten to know my little ones, Ian and Skylar. She would get a kick out of them. She did get to see Ian when he was a baby. She said he was beautiful and looked just like my dad, Tom, when he was a baby. I lived with her for part of the time when I was a teenager, and things were occasionally turbulent, but the years went by and I grew into an adult. I will miss you Mimi, and I wish you peace.

I have fond memories of “Evelyn” (Mimi) dating back to early 1960’s.  I remember my sister Nora babysitting for her kids.  Dave & I were 6 months apart.  I remember Mimi’s strong presence in the house growing up and how she helped Nora with a lot of things.  Years passed and the Ingrams were happily back in our lives.  I walked into our house 1 day and Evelyn was with Nora.  Nora said do you want to go to a barn dance Evelyn is sponsoring and I said no, are you kidding and Evelyn said yes you do in her “non negotiating way” and I said ok.  She came over 1 day and roped me into going to a military ball & she joked saying at least you don’t have to wear cowboy clothes. When my kids were born I asked her "what should they call you" and she said  “Mimi” just like my own!  I moved upstate & she stayed for the weekend, we had so much fun.  She played with the kids, and was loving, caring and bossy.  When we asked Dave to be our son’s Godfather, I called her to tell her and she was thrilled! She said she liked another connection between the Gonzalez family and the Ingrams.  Mimi & Nora kept our families together over the years and for that we will always be grateful. We are saddened to say Goodbye but happy she was such a big part of me & my brothers and sisters growing up and then my own children. Miss you.
