Mrs. Young was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica and was formerly of England, New York and, until 2001, of Palm Coast. She moved to Orlando in 2001 from there shortly after her loving husband, Noel Young, passed away. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Palm Coast. Mrs. Young enjoyed her passion, sewing.
Mrs. Young leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving son, Donovan (Pearetta) Young, Orlando; sister, Violet Shaw; two nieces, Joan Thompson and Joy Shaw; two grandchildren, Andrew and Zinnia; one great grandchild; good friend, Joan Lee and Mr. & Mrs. Walker.
