Renata A. Schelter

Renata A. Schelter, 79 of Ormond Beach, FL passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Florida Hospital Hospice Care. Mrs. Schelter was born January 1, 1934 in Germany. She attended and graduated nursing school in England 1955, and moved to the United States in 1957. Renata was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She, along with her husband and many friends, was involved with the Germania Maennerchor Club, NJ, and enjoyed singing, dancing, gardening, cooking and needlework. She enjoyed a wonderful life giving joy to family, friends and neighbors by delivering meals and flowers and was a caregiver to her husband of 54 years. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Henry; daughter Ursula (Jim); daughter Monica (John); grandchildren Matthew, Sara, John Jr, and Laura; sister Reinhild and brother Reinhart. Granada Avenue, suite 304, Ormond Beach, FL 32174. A Memorial Service will be 1pm Saturday August 31 at the chapel of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach.
