Richard Hannon age 85, passed away on January 29, 2026.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hannon, and his parents, James and Eva Hannon.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Karren Hannon; his children, Lisa Hannon, Christine (Jim) Imhof, Tim Hannon, Jeff (Beth) Ferris, Heidi (Todd) Shapiro, and Rodney (Kim) Berry; his siblings, White Wolf and Patrick Hannon; his 18 cherished grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends whose lives were brightened by his laughter and joy.
Richard’s life was a celebration of love, family, and adventure. He found delight in the simple pleasures—a sweet treat, a quiet morning on the water, the thrill of casting a line while fishing, or paddling through calm rivers. Yet it was his love for golf that often carried him far and wide, exploring world-famous courses, always chasing the joy of the game with the same passion he brought to every part of his life.
Above all, Richard cherished his family. His heart was generous, his spirit playful, and his laughter contagious. He made ordinary moments extraordinary, from family gatherings filled with stories and smiles to quiet times shared with loved ones. His devotion, warmth, and zest for life left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A proud U.S. Navy veteran, Richard embraced life with courage, energy, and joy. Though he is no longer with us in person, his spirit lives on—in every wave, every gentle breeze, every round of golf, and in the love of the family and friends he treasured most.
