

Richard A. (Dick) Hertzler, 66, of Ormond Beach passed away Thursday, August 27, 2010. He was born June 22, 1944 in Madison Wisconsin, son of the late Richard Adin and Regina (McGranaghan) Hertzler. Dick was an electrical engineer with Unisys Corporation (formerly the Sperry Corporation) in Virginia where he resided until his retirement in 1991. A car enthusiast, he enjoyed restoring old cars, especially Packards and Ford Cougars and driving his 1957 red Thunderbird convertible. He also created home theaters A devoted son and brother, he will always be remembered as a good neighbor and a friend to all. He was everyone’s Uncle Dick. Left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Pat (Jim) Riedinger and Lois (Allan) Wright; nieces, Susan (Paul) Rowland, Kim (Chris) Kinne, Stephanie (James) Isaacson and Tracy (Darby) Vosler , nephew, Mike (Tracy) Riedinger; great nieces and nephews, Zach, Maddie and Alex Rowland; Caroline, Kylie and Cooper Kinne; Emory and Anna Isaacson, Morgan and Mason Vosler and former brother-in-law John Wescott. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m, Tuesday, August 31, 2010 At Volusia Memorial Funeral Home 548 N Nova Rd. Ormond Beach.
